Rosabel Maud Law

Rose Law lived at 137, Spies Lane with her sister and brother-in-law. She worked at Quinton Hall from the time when it was Bourne College. She was a trained tailoress and was in charge of all the sewing there. She was born in Ashwell and came to live at 137, Spies Lane during the First World War. (She came to help her sister with the children and never went back.) She died around 1982.

She was my great Aunt.
